Ironing is one of those household chores that most people seldom relish. It’s time-consuming and not much fun when you have a pile of shirts to iron! As a result, some folks decide to adopt unconventional ways to keep their shirts looking good.
For many, this involves hanging them up after washing and drying them in the sun. Some people even try to let the steam from their daily showers remove any creases!
As you can imagine, there isn’t a real substitute to ironing. Sure, one could buy an ironing “press” to speed things along. But, nothing trumps hand pressing. If you hate ironing, why not let us take care of it for you?
We have over 40 years of experiencing when it comes to professional hand ironing. Your shirts will receive the highest levels of attention to detail. Still not convinced? Here’s why using our professional ironing service makes total sense:
You want to make the right first impression
Imagine turning up to a job interview or even a date looking scruffy. Doing so gives others the impression that you don’t care about your appearance. It also increases the likelihood of you not getting that dream job or having that second date!
When you dress to impress, people will notice you. Part of doing that involves wearing clothes that are clean and pressed.
You care about your clothes
It doesn’t matter whether you follow fashion trends or not. The one thing most people hate is spending money on clothes on a frequent basis. That’s exactly what you’ll be doing if you don’t look after your garments!
Your shirts, in particular, deserve special care and attention. They are delicate garments that can’t always stand up to harsh abuse. When your shirts get ironed, several things happen. First of all, they retain their correct shape and size. Second, they are ready to wear when you need them. And, third, they will enjoy increased longevity.
You’ll save money on dry cleaning costs
Some people will get a dry cleaning company to take care of their shirt pressing. The trouble with that approach is you’ll spend lots of money! It’s better to use a professional shirt pressing service, such as the one we offer.
Another advantage of not having your shirts dry cleaned is that you help the environment. That’s because chemicals often get used in the dry cleaning process. And some of them aren’t kind to the environment.
You have one less thing to worry about
Household chores can sometimes take up a lot of your spare time. Wouldn’t it be good if you could spend more time having fun instead? Let us iron your shirts and you can make that dream a reality!
We’ve clocked up a lot of ironing time!
Our ironing guru, Elizabeth Maye Brown, has professionally ironed clothes for over 40 years. That equates to thousands of hours annually!
We’re even confident she could beat the Guinness World Record for ironing if she wanted to! Currently, the title belongs to Daniel Surya from Chennai, India.
Just last month, he ironed around 7,000 clothes in 26 hours non-stop! He beat the previous world record by Englishman Gareth Sanders of Bristol, UK. Sanders had previously been the title owner, having ironed 2,000 garments in 101 hours.
